MO State Thespian Conference 2016

Each year the members of International Thespian Society Troupe 5140 attend the Missouri State Thespian Conference.  The students get the opportunity to attend Mainstage and One Act productions presented by other high school students throughout the state, attend workshops on various theatre skills presented by professionals from all over the country, audition for over 25 colleges for scholarships, and compete in multiple events such as the Tech Challenge and Improv Olympix.

Fort Zumwalt North was once again named an Honor Troupe by Missouri State Thespians!  In order to be named as an Honor Troupe the officers must present a portfolio of the past year's involvment in multiple activities.  These activities include participation at the state conference, producing mainstage and one-act productions, community service, advocacy, and student design elements.

We would like to congratulate our Technical Theatre Students who did an amazing job running crew for the Individual Events Showcase!  The Tech Challenge Team also took Grand Champion of the competition! The team (Luke Schrand, Jake Wilson, Ashton Green, Molly Engel & Laura Sigmund) competed against 27 teams from across the state.

We had two groups receive Superior ratings for their Individual Event performances!

Group Acting (Cameron Wulfert, Brooke Teson, Bailey Robischeau, Ally Jones) had a perfect score and was selected to perform in the Showcase for the entire Conference

Group Musical (Tessa Knopf, Krysta Fitzgerald, Olivia Thompson, Natalie Irlmeier, Madison Crosswhite)

We also had two students selected to be part of the 2017 Missouri All-State Production! Congratulations to Zach Brunkhorst and Natalie Irlmeier!

And congratulations to Zach for being selected as the Page to Stage Stage Manager for the second year!
