MO State Thespian Conference 2015

Each year the members of International Thespian Society Troupe 5140 attend the Missouri State Thespian Conference.The students get the opportunity to attend Mainstage and One Act productions presented by other high school students throughout the state, attend workshops on various theatre skills presented by professionals from all over the country, audition for over 25 colleges for scholarships, and compete in multiple events such as the Tech Challenge and Improv Olympix.Fort Zumwalt North was once again named an Honor Troupe by Missouri State Thespians!

We would like to congratulate our Technical Theatre Students who did an amazing job running crew for the Individual Events Showcase!The Tech Challenge Team also took first place in 3 of the 6 events they competed in for the Tech Challenge. The team (Jake Lindell, Nick Graceffa, Luke Schrand, Molly Engel & Jake Wilson) competed against 23 teams from across the state.



Two time State Champion knot-tyer Luke Schrand with a new record of 12 seconds!

State Champion in Lighting Hang & Focus was Nick Graceffa with a time of 1:36.

The team was also the State Champion in the Cable Relay, and came in second place overall.

Senior Jake Lindell received wonderful scores for his Lighting Design Individual Event, and12 College Callbacks after his Scholarship Interview!

Seniors Sam Wells, Emily Fluchel and Kelsey Bean all received numerous College Callbacks after their Scholarship Auditions.

Both the Group Musical (Natalie Irlmeier, Faith Mueller, Kelsey Bean, Cameron Wulfert, Kylie Walters) and Group Acting (Ally Jones, Brendan Flynn, Sam Wells, Devon Gibbs, Emily Fluchel, Courtney Musket) Individual Events received wonderful scores for their performances.

We would also like to congratulate Faith Mueller on being selected as a finalist for the Theatre for Life Scholarship!

Big congratulations to Zach Brunkhorst on being selected as the Stage Manager for Page to Stage!
